OK, seriously, you have to see the video this guy made after getting a $50 ticket for not riding his bike in the bike lane. It’s not only super funny, but it’s also the best public service announcement EVER. And come on NYPD, there’s got to be more pressing matters to attend to then bikers not sticking to the bike lane, right?
As a matter of background, the creator of the video, Casey Neistat, is a film director, producer and the creator of the HBO series The Neistat Brothers. He has been creating YouTube videos since 2010 amassing over 50 million views to date.
When contacted about this video, “bike lanes by Casey Neistat”, he told The Huffington Post that it was not his intention to create a protest film:
“My number one motivation to make this movie was to be funny. I’m not trying to rise up against the man. I’m just trying to make a funny movie.”
