I think it’s about time that we had a little chat about a couple of things.
First of all I’d like to say that I have always been a big believer in freedom of speech and I truly love a good debate. Whether I agree with your views or not, I am certainly always interested in hearing your perspective on things. But I also must admit that sometimes you go so far over the edge into the waters of insanity that it makes it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to have a rational civilized discussion.
Let’s take the subjects of racism and guns for example. Now for me these are two topics that should easily be conducive to meaningful debate because we could actually begin from a place of complete agreement. I mean we may differ on opinions of how to solve these issues but I would think that at the very least we should all be able to agree that senseless gun violence and racism are two very big problems in this country.
And yet, somehow we can’t even agree on that simple fact….because for some reason you are no longer even willing to consider reality.
But you see, here’s the thing…your unwillingness to see reality or acknowledge literal FACTS is all but a guarantee that epidemic atrocities like racism and gun violence will continue to flourish in this country. Because no matter how loudly Liberals may condemn these problems and scream out for solutions, they cannot solve this crisis by themselves.
The unfortunate truth is that the alarming and innate dangers of racism and gun violence can only be eradicated through diligent efforts from ALL of us. But if you’re not even willing to agree to a baseline fact that there IS a problem, how can we ever hope to begin any sort of rational dialogue about this….let alone come up with solutions??
So come on now…let’s be honest here.
Are you genuinely serious about this righties?? How can you keep a straight face and insist that we don’t have a racism or gun problem in this country?? And are you really trying to tell me that from your perspective there are “FAR MORE” dangerous threats to America than gun violence and racism??
So perhaps it will surprise you then to know that there were actually more people killed in that South Carolina church by an American racist with a gun than the total number of Americans killed by ISIS over the past year and Ebola….combined. Even if you added the Americans killed in Benghazi to that total it still would not exceed how many were killed in Charleston.
But hey, far be it from me to confuse you with pesky FACTS…..
