The Senate will finally take a vote on Monday around 5:30 on expanding background checks and closing the terror gap. Here’s the contact info for the Senators. Call yours now and throughout the weekend to tell them to vote YES!

The vote is set to take place on Monday around 5:30. So between now and then let’s make our voices heard. Let’s tell our Senators that we want them to step up and do the right thing. It’s long past time that we start doing something about common sense gun control….and this is about as common sense as it gets.

Now would also be a good time to show the Dems some love after the great filibuster that made this vote possible. It’s pathetic really, that after the worst mass shooting in American history, the Dems literally have to filibuster to even get a vote on keeping guns out of the hands of terrorists. But at least the vote is a step in the right direction….so we’ll take it.
