On Saturday, Hillary used some of the most dismissive rhetoric about Trump that we’ve heard this entire campaign.
Saturday aboard her campaign plane, Hillary expressed to the press how very little she cares about Trump these days. Since the third debate, she has been using a totally different strategy to deal with him. In her most dismissive tone she said,
“I don’t even think about responding to him anymore.”
“Leading in the polls both nationally and in battleground states, Clinton signaled that she and running mate Tim Kaine instead would be focused on making gains for congressional Democrats in the closing stretch of the campaign. Democrats hope to win back the majority in the Senate and some are even dreaming of taking control of the House despite what is currently a historically large Republican majority.”
Hillary explained what she and Tim Kaine will be focused on until election day.
“As we’re traveling in these last 17 days we’re going to be emphasizing the importance of electing Democrats down the ballot.”
“I’m going to let the American people decide between what he offers and what we offer. So he can say whatever he wants to. He can run his campaign however he wants to, he can go off on tangents, he can go to Gettysburg and say he’s gonna to sue women who’ve made accusations against him. I’m going to keep talking about what we want to do.”
She’s got the wind at her back and she knows it. I hope she aggressively runs up the score over the next two weeks. This country needs to send a loud and clear message to Trump and his supporters. Trump’s brand of bigotry and hatred is not who we are. It’s not acceptable. And it’s time we make that known for good.
