John McCain Confirms He Gave Incriminating Report About Trump’s Russian Ties To FBI

On Wednesday John McCain confirmed that he did in fact give a dossier with incriminating information on Trump’s ties to Russia to the FBI.

CNN reported on Tuesday night that Donald Trump and President Obama were briefed last week that Russia has incriminating information on Trump and some high-level Republicans. The reporting says the dirt Russia has on Trump is both financial and personal.

“Classified documents presented last week to President Obama and President-elect Trump included allegations that Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump, multiple US officials with direct knowledge of the briefings tell CNN.”

“The two-page synopsis also included allegations that there was a continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government, according to two national security officials.”

The reporting also stated that last year John McCain received a dossier showing unverified claims that Russia had collected compromising information on the President-elect. McCain then turned over the incriminating information to the FBI.

On Wednesday McCain confirmed the reporting.

“Late last year, I received sensitive information that has since been made public. Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgement about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI. That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI or any other government agency regarding this issue.”

Following the explosive allegations found in this report, Trump took to Twitter to deny the entire thing.
