There are nine times as many busloads of protesters scheduled to march on Washington as there are Trump supporters who will be at the Inauguration. And we’re just getting warmed up….
There are big protest events scheduled, both in Washington D.C. and all across the country, during inauguration week. The first day of protests is on Sunday, January 15. The next one will be held on inauguration day. And then the big Women’s March will be held in D.C. and nearly every state in the nation the day after on Saturday, January 21.
Anti-Trump protesters have reserved 1,800 bus parking permits for the D.C. Women’s March on January 21. By comparison, only 200 have been requested for Inauguration day. That’s about nine times as many buses for protesters as supporter buses.
“Councilmember Charles Allen told News4 about 200 permits were requested for the inauguration on Friday, Jan. 20. The city has received about 1,800 permits for the following day, Jan. 21, when thousands are expected to attend the Women’s March on Washington in protest of President-elect Donald Trump.
More than 183,000 people said they will be going to the women’s march, according to the event’s Facebook page.”
Donald Trump and the Republicans have no idea what they’re about to face for the next four years. We are organizing and protesting. And we have a rapidly growing grass-roots effort to resist this corrupt incoming administration.
Better buckle up Trump…you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. In fact, we’re just getting warmed up.
