Mika: “Here’s why I won’t book Kellyanne Conway.”
Trump’s surrogates lie so much that it’s hard to pick out which one of them tells the most falsehoods. But Kellyanne Conway is certainly near the top of the list.
Trump’s senior adviser has been lying for her boss since early in his campaign. If you thought she’d get her act together once she was in the White House, you were sorely mistaken. Her lies and insane spins have only gotten worse since the inauguration.
Conway herself coined the phrase, “alternative facts,” or as the rest of us call them, lies. And she has used those lies on everything from Trump’s poll numbers and crowd sizes to an imaginary terror attack in Bowling Green.
But the most frustrating thing about this is that TV networks just keep having her on. They are enabling her to spread blatant lies to the American people over and over again.
Fortunately some cable news hosts have finally had enough.
On Wednesday MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski clearly laid out the reasons why she will no longer allow Conway on Morning Joe. And she didn’t pull any punches.
“So Joe was just saying she books herself on these shows. We know for a fact she tries to book herself on this show. I won’t do it. Because I don’t believe in fake news or information that is not true. And that is every time I’ve ever seen her on television, something’s askew, off, or incorrect.”
