This new website envisions Washington DC without Trump – and it’s freaking hilarious!
There’s a new parody website that has gone viral. And if you are an anti-Trumper this will make your day.
The site is HillaryBeatTrump.org and the anonymous creator said it was meant to be “a joyful middle finger” to Trump and the Republicans. The header on the site says, “News from the real America, where the majority rules.”
They post hilarious articles every day imagining the news of the day if Hillary had won the presidency. For example, after Sean Spicer banned several news outlets from a press briefing on Friday and after Trump’s disastrous press conference, the parody site put out a piece titled, “New York Times Slams Clinton For Giving ‘Yet Another Excellent Press Conference.”
The article says,
“While Politifact rated President Hillary Rodham Clinton’s latest press conference a “substantive, truthful, and intellectually commanding performance,” powerful media organizations like the New York Times are impugning Clinton’s polite, highly professional interactions with the media as “regrettably informative” and “uniquely terrible reality TV.”
A TMZ reporter complained, “Clinton didn’t once yell, make personal attacks on the journalists present, or say any immediately provable falsehoods. Nobody’s going to watch this shit.””
Other headlines include, “Ivanka announces new alt-right clothing line: ‘Not your grandfather’s hood,'” “Crisis at CPAC: Preibus confesses Sweden is ‘safe,’ ‘thoroughly lovely,'” “Clinton admits she fought ISIS in two previous lives,” and “As hate crimes decline, Milo Yiannopoulos returns to work as Starbucks barista.”
The anonymous creator of the site told the Washington Post,
“I didn’t want to wallow or argue with people who can’t be argued with. There’s something about humor as confrontation that I instinctively thought would work — like a good right jab that I could keep using.”
