Move over Melissa McCarthy…Pauly Shore’s parody is not only hilarious, it’s also eerily realistic.
One thing’s for sure. The Trump administration is providing plenty of jobs for comedians and satirists. We’ve already seen some hilarious impersonations of Kellyanne Conway, Sean Spicer, Anthony Scaramucci, and Trump himself.
And now Paulie Shore is joining in the fun, mocking Trump senior adviser Stephen Miller.
Last week at a White House press briefing Miller got into a heated exchange with CNN’s Jim Acosta over the Statue of Liberty. Miller was over-the-top obnoxious.
On Friday Pauly Shore released a brilliant video with Funny or Die mimicking the Miller/Acosta episode.
In the clip Shore says,
“The whole reason we put the Statue of Liberty here is to show the rest of the world that here in America we got some beautiful babes. And another you might not know, Jim, is that she’s not holding a book, she’s holding an iPad.”
Then Shore gave the room of journalists a fake history lesson about the Statue of Liberty.
“In the year 2000, did you know a mutant known as Wolverine scaled the Statue of Liberty in a climactic showdown with Saber Tooth?” Shore asks. “Or in the fucking 1980s, when the Ghostbusters brought the Lady Liberty to life with the power of ectoplasm. Is that violating, in your opinion Jim Acosta, the Statue of Liberty law of the land?”
