Jared Kushner Is Registered To Vote In New York As A Female

Why does Jared Kushner have so much trouble truthfully filling out basic forms?

Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, has repeatedly made mistakes filling out simple routine forms. It took him several tries to get his security clearance forms filled out properly. And now we are learning that he couldn’t even get his gender right on his voter registration.

According to public records held by the New York State Board of Elections, Jared Corey Kushner is registered as a female voter in New York.

A Democratic opposition research group called American Bridge was the first to catch this error.

Brad Bainum, a spokesperson for the group, told Wired,

“Kushner can’t even fill out the most basic paperwork without screwing it up, so it’s a mystery why anyone thinks he’s somehow going to bring peace to the Middle East. Would anyone but the president’s son-in-law still have a West Wing job after repeated disclosure errors and a botched a security clearance form?”

In July, CBS reported that it took Kushner three tries to fill out his security clearance form. Initially, he omitted the names of all foreign contacts. We know now that he had many contacts with Russians during the campaign. Kushner blamed the errors on his team accidentally hitting send before he had the chance to finish filling out the form.

The Washington Post reported that Kushner also got the dates of his graduate degrees wrong on the security form. And he omitted his father-in-law’s address.

And yet, a guy who has so little regard for details or for doing things correctly, is supposed to be in charge of peace in the Middle East, solving the opioid crisis, overhauling the entire federal government, updating technology throughout the federal government, leading criminal justice reform, and keeping Trump from going off the rails? Really?? When the guy can’t even check the right gender box??

This voter registration error is just one more example of the astounding incompetence of this administration.
