Donald Trump is yet again attacking the free press. Wednesday morning, he threatened to take away press credentials. And then Twitter ripped him a new one.
Donald Trump might think he’s cute – always threatening the American press. But clearly, the country is not feeling it.
On Wednesday morning, Trump tweeted out, “The Fake News is working overtime. Just reported that, despite the tremendous success we are having with the economy & all things else, 91% of the Network News about me is negative (Fake). Why do we work so hard in working with the media when it is corrupt? Take away credentials?”

Trump likes to attack the press. But most of his attacks are just empty bloviating from a thin-skinned corrupt man-child who can’t handle the idea of the American public learning the truth about him. He calls all negative press coverage “fake news.” But that’s all he’s got. He can’t answer for the countless scandals we are bombarded with every day from this administration. So he stomps his feet and screams fake news and threatens things like taking away press credentials.
I think he’s stupid. But I don’t think he’s stupid enough to make good on his threats.
I’m just sick of his childish attacks. And I’m not the only one. Based on the responses to his asinine tweet on Wednesday I’d say that most people are sick and tired of his bullshit.
Here’s some of the replies to his tweet:
If you don’t like the media reporting negative things, quit doing them.
Even if you quit now, they have years of crimes to report on.

There you have it, spelled out in black and white: to President Racist Grandpa, "negative" news is the same as "fake" news. We always knew this was a con job aimed at the right wing base, but now he's openly admitting it. https://t.co/PjsMmTNVNC

If you really think that anyone besides your rabid followers believe a word you say any more you are as delusional as the "fake news" says.

Just because you don't like what's said , it doesn't make it fake. Why don't you resign and save us the bullshit .

So tell the world how your lawyer Cohen received $500k from the Russians.

um…Because we are a FREE Country!! Douche bag! FREE COUNTRY FREE PRESS Freedom of Religion, FREE FREE FREE to disagree with you. We are not CHAINED to YOUR ideas nor your stupidity!

Your corruption far outweighs anything positive you perceive you've done. As to your "take away credentials" all I can say is, "I'm so thankful for the 4 Estate, and the 1st amendment." You'd do away with both if you could. The American people deserve better!

Your not taking anything away from anyone… In fact I'd be much more concerned about your little friend Michael's FAKE LLC …. Where did all that money go????? I bet the Fed's know😱

All one has to do is look at your childish tantrums on Twitter to figure out why you get negative coverage. BTW fact checking your constant torrent of lies does not constitute negative coverage.
83% of your speech about the Iran treaty was false.

Really Comrade Trump? Your damn right it's mostly negative but negative and fake are not the fucking same dumbass, your boy Putin is sending the atta-boy about now.

So let's sort this out:
Hundreds of journalists, Pulitzer Prize winners, dozens of long-respected fact-check organizations, and our ability to READ legislation on https://t.co/veL78og4tN, are all "fake" because an orange-tinted pathological liar says so?
Don't drop the soap.

Mr. Trump, you have internationally disgraced our country, allowed your cronies to profiteer from the plight of others and seem to be on a killing rampage against the poor. Make the world a better place and resign.

Attacking the 1st Amendment because you are such a baby about negative news and can not handle reality is a violation of your oath of office. Please see the Constitution of the United States First Amendment, surely someone there can read.

Crazy man! All negative news about you is NOT fake news. You conspired with Russia to steal the election. The news is going to be negative. It’s both NEGATIVE AND TRUE! #TrumpRussia

Just because you disagree with something, or if it’s negative does not mean that it’s not real. I think that racism is very negative, yet it is very real. Negative press is not fake. Stop misusing words. You’re the president of the United States; do better. This is not normal.

.@realDonaldTrump I have press credentials. I’m 73 years old I got them when I was 70 I’ve never been prouder of anything. I have written several negative articles on you. Please pick me so I can sue you on First Amendment violations pic.twitter.com/dTW7Dw3PUZ

I think they might stop saying negative things if you stop doing dumb shit.
— The Shit Trump Says (@OurDumbPOTUS) May 9, 2018
Negative does not have the same meaning as the word fake. The news is negative about you because you're an incompetent blithering idiot traitor. Not fake, it's accurate. Fake is what your presidency is. #TrumpRussia #ObstructionOfJustice #TheResistance

We need to take away the "credentials" that allow Trump to plop his fat ass in a chair in the Oval Office. He's more deserving of a prison ID number. His time is coming. Tick tock tick tock….
