This conservative radio host lost his mind, ripped off his mic, and stormed off the set in the middle of an HLN segment on Friday. He really didn’t like it when the liberal on the panel called out his BS.
On Friday, conservative radio host Steve Deace appeared on HLN to discuss news of the day. And it didn’t go well.
Deace got all bent out of shape when Sirius radio talk show host Dean Obeidallah mentioned Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum and their desire to make the Christian Bible the law of the land.
“The stakes are really high in this country,” Obeidallah said. “And there are people who want to impose Christian Sharia law in this country. And what I mean by that is that they want the Bible as the law of the land. Mike Huckabee has literally said ‘you can’t change the Bible but you can change the Constitution.'”
Clearly, Deace couldn’t handle being confronted with truth about his own party. Obeidallah tried to explain that he wasn’t attacking Deace personally. But that didn’t stop Deace from ripping off his mic in the middle of the discussion and storming off the set.
The most disappointing thing about this whole exchange is that the show host bent over backwards to apologize to Deace and beg him to come back to the set. Obeidallah didn’t say anything that wasn’t true. It’s unfortunate that Deace’s childish behavior was rewarded by the show’s host.
