This is so great. On Monday morning, Fox & Friends made a huge mistake. They thought that they had booked a woman who would join in their pro-Trump propaganda. But they got something else entirely.
Fox & Friends thought that they had booked a pro-ICE Dem to come on and talk about how great Trump’s immigration policy is. But they actually booked a Dem who had a direct message to Donald Trump, “Stop abducting kids and putting children in cages!” The hosts had absolutely no idea what to do.
The bookers at Fox & Friends mistook Massachusetts state senator Barbara L’Italien for Arizona’s Ann Kirkpatrick, who was recently booed at a debate for her pro-ICE stance.
It might’ve been an accident that L’Italien ended up on Fox. But she wasted no time taking advantage of the mistake.
“I’m actually here to speak directly to Donald Trump,” she said. “I feel that what’s happening at the border is wrong. I’m a mother of four, and I believe that separating kids from their parents is illegal and inhumane. I’m actually Barbara L’Italien, I’m a state senator representing a large immigrant community and running for Congress in Massachusetts.”
The show’s hosts were clearly confused. After briefly trying to rebut what L’Italien was saying, they abruptly ended the segment saying, “That didn’t go as planned.”
Following the show, Fox put out a statement trying to explain the mistake.

However the mistake happened it was hilarious. And well done Ms. L’Italien! I hope you win your race!
