Donald Trump was humiliated on Tuesday when the entire United Nations General Assembly laughed at him. And, on Wednesday morning, The View‘s Whoopi Goldberg mocked Trump’s performance and kept the laughter going.
On Tuesday, Donald Trump gave a speech to the United Nations General Assembly. And it didn’t go well.
At the beginning of his speech, Trump tried to use a line that he frequently uses at his campaign rallies. He bragged that he has accomplished more in his first two years in office than any other administration in the history of the country. When Trump uses that ridiculous line at his rallies, he is rewarded with thunderous applause. But when he tried it with foreign leaders from all over the world, he got a very different reaction.
They literally laughed at him.
So on Wednesday morning, comedian Whoopi Goldberg kept the laughter going when she hilariously mocked Trump’s performance on The View.
“He wasn’t mortified, he was surprised,” Whoopi said. “I think he thinks that everyone buys it.”
“(He thinks) that everyone is going to say, ‘Yes, you’ve done more in the whole history of the world,” she mocked.
“And thinks that people aren’t going to go,” she added, laughing and pointing “‘You so silly, you so silly, dummy.’”
