Michelle Obama Meets And Dances With Adorable 2-Year-Old Who Fell In Love With Her Portrait -VIDEO

A picture of this adorable little girl standing in awe of Michelle Obama’s portrait went viral last week. And now our former First Lady is making this child’s dream come true. This is seriously the sweetest thing you’ll see all day.

Last week, you might’ve seen this adorable picture of a little girl staring lovingly at the official portrait of former First Lady Michelle Obama at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C.

The little girl in the picture is 2-year-old Parker Curry. The day the picture was taken she was visiting the museum with her mom and her younger sister. The child’s mother Jessica Curry explained to CNN, “Parker was in front on the portrait, and I really wanted her to turn around so I could get a picture with her, and she genuinely, honestly would not turn around.”

But Jessica was proud that her young daughter was taking such an interest in Obama’s portrait.

“In the world we live in today, I’m just trying to raise a little girl who has opportunities to see women who look like her doing great things,” she said.

On Monday Parker and her mother Jessica appeared on BuzzFeed’s AM to DM. “I want to see her,” Parker said. When the child was asked what she wanted to say to Mrs. Obama, she answered, “She’s a queen.”

Well, on Tuesday, Parker’s dream came true. She got to meet her idol. After their meeting, Michelle Obama shared this sweet video on Twitter of her and the child dancing together.

“In further discussion with [Parker] yesterday and today, I realized that she believes Michelle Obama is a queen, and she wants to be a queen as well,” Jessica said.

“As a female and as a girl of color, It’s really important that I show her people who look like her that are doing amazing things and are making history so that she knows she can do it.”
